This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Soybeans nearly hit the $12 mark, while Corn tries to break through the $4.30 level. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March. closed the day up ¾, to finish at 599 ½. March. Corn up 1, to close at 428 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 2 ¼, to settle at 559 ¼.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat was Unch, ranging from 6-20 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 2 ¼, ranging from 6-99 ¼ to 7-09 ¼. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-20 to 6-28. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were dn 2 ¼, ranging from 6-76 to 7-06.

Live Cattle for Feb. were up $.12 ½, closing at 110.65. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $.95, to finish the day at 134.60. Dec. Class III milk was up $.39, at 15.98.
