This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Cattle closed on its lows, uncertainty in the market has traders moving forward cautiously. Here’s Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to share more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 2 ½, to finish at 597 ¾. March. Corn up 3 ¾, to close at 430 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 4 ¾, to settle at 566 ¼.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were up 5 - Unch, ranging from 6-15 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 4 ¾, ranging from 7-06 ¼ to 7-21 ¼. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-15 to 6-28. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were up 1 ½, ranging from 6-82 ¼ to 7-12 ¼.

Live Cattle for Feb. were dn $.42 ½, closing at 113.15. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $2.42 ½, to finish the day at 137.30. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.15, at 16.01.
