SGMA, or the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, is requiring water users to live within a budgeted amount of water usage.

The leadership at the Rosedale Rio Bravo Water Storage District, as well as a number of collaborators, created a water accounting system to give landowners the needed information to make informed decisions regarding their water budgets.

The system is not only gaining popularity in the Rosedale Rio Bravo Water District, but throughout the state.
