From AgInfo.net, I'm Bob Larson with your Agribusiness Update. Lawmakers return to their lame duck session this week while President-elect Donald Trump is expected to resume naming members of his incoming administration.

Trump has yet to announce any of his key nominees for agriculture, including Agriculture and Interior secretaries and the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Trump's future White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus said on Fox News Sunday the president-elect is trying to select the "best people possible ... for all Americans."

The autonomous, or driverless, tractor concepts revealed this year from Case and New Holland Industrial brands are receiving Silver Innovation medals from the SIMA organization which hosts the bi-annual international farm machinery exhibition to be held this February in Paris. The awards recognize new developments which "demonstrate design and innovative features that have the potential to offer significant user benefits."

The awards went to the cabless Case Magnum CVX and the cabbed New Holland T8 NH Drive autonomous concept tractors, which were on display at this year's Farm Progress Show.
