If it's time to replace those good old hunting boots, it might be a good time to check out your local Sportsmen Warehouse. Today I got a hold of Jamie in the footwear department to learn a little more about their line of Danner Boots.

What are some of your more popular hunting boots that you guys carry.

"I would say, for hunting it's either between our Pronghorn or our High ground boots. Our High grounds are a little bit more of a light weight boot, more camo on it, not as stiff. The pronghorns are more of an all leather, hard rubber soul. So, if you are doing archery and you are going to be tracking over a lot of rough terrain, the Pronghorn would be really good. If you're going deer hunting, or duck hunting or even just a small hike, the High Ground would be a lot better. Both of them come insulated, both of them have the gortex waterproofing system, which is one of the best water proofing systems you can get.

Out of all the boots in the store, what are the number 1 hunting boots you guys sell?

"I would have to say the Pronghorn, Danner for the hunting would be the Pronghorn and Irish Setter. When it comes to hunting, the Irish Setter and Danners are neck and neck. Some people will stick with Danners after they've have them for 40 years, they don't want to change to anything new so they will stick with Danner. Irish Setter has more of a variety when it comes to their hunting boots. With Danner you have your 2 basic hunting boots, with Irish Setter there is 3 – 4 different hunting boots.

Thanks for you time Jamie, as always great valuable information at sportsman warehouse.
