Almost 2 weeks ago, we learned the EPA's Promotion of WOTUS Violated Federal Law, according to an investigation by the Government Accountability Office (GAO).  GAO determined that EPA's use of social media to garner support of the rule went against covert propaganda and anti-lobbying provisions.

NCBA Environmental Counsel Scott Yager explained what this ruling will mean for the EPA saying that:"In practical terms, the EPA will need to make a report to Congress and the president saying how they used these funds inappropriately and they will have to account for taxpayers dollars spent here. Here is what it does for us — we're going to continue to call on Congress to defund the WOTUS. This GAO legal opinion is the latest information we've received that this rule is flawed and it needs to be fixed and we need Congress to do that."

I called the Executive Dir. of the Idaho Cattle Association Wyatt Prescott and ask him to weigh in: "EPA actually violated anti-lobbying provisions which unfortunately is an indicator possibly of an agenda of there and that is very disturbing that is coming from our federal government."
