If we think that we have Wolf problems across the great Northwest, listen to Mark Werner, owner of BCguideoutfitters up in British Columbia. He is a very seasoned hunting and fishing guide with a lot of experience with wolves. "I would post it feels but we get death threats from the animal activists. I get hate emails constantly over the wolves issue. We do the science. We have the world's best experts in British Columbia on the wolf issue. We have between 10,000 and 15,000 wolves in British Columbia. When you think about the issues that are going on in Idaho, Wyoming with populations of only 1500 and these types of populations and yet the amount of havoc on livestock and wildlife and domestic dogs, when you think about what 1500 wolves can do and then go to 15,000, think about how much game and livestock are lost. We are having strategic meetings on how to help ranchers. There are ranchers in British Columbia who are losing dozens and dozens of cattle all the time and even more importantly, the cattle that stay alive are stressed, under nourished and have low birth weights. Wolves have been wreaking havoc for years and industry is mostly to blame.
