Top of the Class Beef Advocacy Program

There has been more than 7,000 ranchers and other beef industry advocates participate in the National Cattlemen's Beef Association Masters of Beef Advocacy or MBA program which helps participants to tell beef industry's story and their own personal positive beef message. There is now additional more intense training available for beef advocates. NCBA Manager of Issues Communications Brandi Buzzard Frobose shares more about the Top of the Class program

Frobose: "The Top of the Class is the next level advocacy training program for MBA graduates. So if there are any interested parties who would like to apply for this program and benefit from the real valuable training that we go through. They would first make sure they are a Masters of Beef Advocacy graduate and they can do that easily by going to www.beef.org/mba and if they are already a Master of Beef Advocacy grad; after completing that initial course, then they can apply through the application process. Generally that application will be distributed and available to be filled out about the end of January or the beginning of February. That is when we will start the call for the next session. We are always looking for unique beef community members speak up. We've had chefs, we've had some meat purveyors, we've had ag ed teachers — we've had a wide variety of people apply and really get a lot of great information and training from the program. We encourage all members of the beef community to complete the MBA program and to apply of the Top of the Class program."
