Washington State Beef Commission Partners with Seattle Sounders FC

Reaching Millennial parents is one of the focuses of a new partnership that the Washington State Beef Commission has. Director of Consumer Information Jackie Madill shares more details.
Madill: “We’re really excited partnering with Seattle Sounders FC — our local major league soccer team here in Seattle on a really cool and innovative new way of getting beef nutrition information to Millennial families that are really focused on fitness and have active lifestyles and of course have little kids playing sports.”

Madill also shares the success of the social media aspect of the partnership.
Madill: “For the last few months, Beef Commission has been running a social media campaign on Facebook. We’re really excited that particular campaign focused around our partnership with the Sounders has reached over 600,000 Millennial consumers here in the Seattle market. Targeting them with great beef nutritional information and opportunities to be engaged with Sounders FC through tickets or signed jerseys — cool things that Sounder fans and families get excited about.”
