National Post-Secondary Ag Student Organization Meets in Boise

The National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization (PAS) is an organization associated with agriculture/agribusiness and natural resources offerings in approved postsecondary institutions. This week they’re holding their National Conference in Boise. The PAS National President Brian Gordon shares more details about this week’s events.
Gordon: “Our conference will have approximately right around 560 to 570 students here. They will have individual competitions. The competitions will be in areas such as career planning and progress, employment interview and then we’ve got our specialist competitions. We will be running from Wednesday to Saturday. We will elect a new slate of officers and this is where we have our business meeting.”
Gordon adds how much the organization appreciates its sponsors.
Gordon: “AgrBeef has actually really stepped up for us — I can’t tell you how very excited I am to try their short-ribs that they sponsored for one of our dinners. We can’t thank them enough. What us as an officer team does — it couldn’t be done without great sponsors such as AgriBeef and other great sponsors that we have.”
