A Western Legend Passes Away

The world lost one of the best ambassadors and story tellers of the western way of life - well known and iconic western photographer David Stoecklein has passed away.
His photos captured the true essence of the working cowboys, cowgirls and kids in the most beautiful and awe-inspring ways and graced advertisements, websites, books, calendars and many publications representing the Western Way of Life.
AgriBeef had a long-time friendship and relationship with Stoecklein and he had done several different photo shoots for the company over the years. AgriBeef’s Executive Director of Marketing Jay Theiler shares
Theiler: “David had been a long long term friend of AgriBeef dating way back. We’ve done multiple projects over the years including some very recent ones in the last three to five years — specifically a big photo shoot at the Double R Ranch. And he was really able to capture the essence of the people, the landscape, the animals. Really bring that to life in his photographs in a way that I think — that the company thinks was completely authentic.”
Although I didn’t personally know him, I’ve always enjoyed his images that truly reflect the ranching way of life.
Theiler says
Theiler: “We just wish his friends and family the best. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and we will really miss him.”
