Farmersonly.com Jerry Miller is founder and president of farmersonly.com and we talked: "Back in 2005, I met this farm girl and she had just gotten a divorce and she said Jerry I am really afraid that I am never going to meet anybody new. I said what are you talking about? And she said, I already know everybody in my community and in the church and at the feed store, it wasn't that big of an area and she goes maybe I'll try online dating and she went on to one of the biggest sites. About a month later I asked her how the online dating was going and she said that the guys she had talked to just could not relate to the lifestyle of a farmer and I said there has to be a site for farmers, I know there are sites for all types of religions and lifestyles, so I said I will find you one. I started searching for her and I could not find anything. I said huh. I started researching by talking to farmers all over the country, I would ask are you married, how did you meet your wife, and I kept hearing the same story over and over again. The people who are single out in the small rural communities are in the same situation. Most of the people who are married, married their high school sweetheart or they met somebody in college. I realized that there is a problem in a lot of the areas of the country. So, David, I really had no idea what I was doing but I said to myself, I am going to start a dating site for farmers.
