Will Rambo from Sportsman's Warehouse is in the archery department and I called him out of nowhere and had a conversation about choosing a bow. Listen to the knowledge and how un-pushy he was. "Help me with a recommendation for your preference for a deer and elk bow. what are we talking about, and adult, youth? For an adult. Would that be entry level? Yes. Several different ones are out there that I would take into consideration. One is the Core from Diamond because it goes from 40 to 70 pounds, easy draw cycle, shootability is extremely easy, and the other bow is going to be the Vision from PSE. Both of them are excellent new bows on the market and they both have a lot of adjustability. What do they cost? $399 on the PSE and up to $449 for the Diamond. What do you recommend for the extremely experienced archery hunter? An experienced archer is going to be pickier about his equipment because he knows what he wants. At that point, I would show several different bows and it is going to be the one that fits him and not me. There is a comfort zone there. It's kind of like a pair of work boots, if it fits, it fits and if it doesn't, it doesn't. That is what the hunter is going to look for. So as opposed to selling something to someone you work with them. Yes. I want to make that customer happy because the happy customer is going to be shooting that bow for 10 to 15 years.
