Gun safety advice. Taylor Parkinson from Sportsman's Warehouse has great advice to offer. "I think it is a good idea for everybody to have a handgun as far as personal protection as long as you are within specific limitations as far as age group, mental stability and things like that. But a lot of people do not grow up shooting so if you have not grown up shooting and your parents didn't tell you be general rules, they offer classes for concealed carry, general classes for safety in general, for muzzle awareness, you want to make sure you are pointing the muzzle in a safe direction, make sure it is pointing up depending on the situation, keeping it up and away from people is important, muzzle is up when you're not using it or pointing down in a holster. You should treat a gun like it is always loaded. Keep a round out of the chamber. If you are going to be using firearms and you are not super familiar with them, I recommend you take a hunters education course and we can recommend people to do that for you.
