Promoting US. Potato Frozen Product

The United States Potato Board is not an organization to rest on its laurels. It is always looking to improve its training and education as well as the promotion of U.S. potatoes and products around the globe to its many target markets.

United States Potato Board International Marketing Manager for the Frozen program Susan Weller shares more about the series of new online promotional videos that the USPB is in the process of finalizing.

Weller: "It is a seven segmented video that basically includes an overall image piece about U.S. frozen potatoes. It includes an all-star cast of growers from the Pacific Northwest who are growing potatoes for export or for the frozen processors. It has a processing segment which can basically train people to understand why we have such high quality U.S. frozen product. It has different segments like nutrition, variety and marketing. So that they understand how to better market their U.S. frozen potatoes or adding more cuts to add to their sales -- as well as versatility and convenience."

These new promotional pieces will be available online and in DVD form and will be translated and/or dubbed into the target markets' native languages.
