'SIPPIN' IN THE CITY' RETURNS TO BOISE FOR ANOTHER ROUND?

Tickets for Idaho's Hippest Wine and Food Event Are On Sale Now.

Break away from the everyday wine tasting and prepare yourself for something completely different style.  Sip your way through Idaho's best bottles while sampling sweet and savory bites in the Linen District.

Here's Executive director of the Idaho Wine commission, Moya Schatz: "For the third year in a row, the Idaho Wine Commission will host 'Sippin' in the City,' taking place on November 8, 2013 at the Linen Building (1402 W. Grove St.) in downtown Boise. More than 15 Idaho wineries will be showcased, as well as delectable pairings from Idaho's culinary artists. The consumer tasting will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m. Nearly 250 guests will be greeted with a commemorative wine glass as they taste and sip their way through Idaho's finest food and wine. SIPPIN's a little different than your typical wine event. The wineries actually walk around and poor so the consumer can stay in one spot and have a more enjoyable experience. I don't know about you but sometimes even I get a little intimidated going to wine events so it is great when the winery actually approaches you. Doug Cameron is going to be playing the music this year so we are changing it up a little bit and we are excited to have open table catering back on. We are going to have Dawson's coffee."
