6-7 IAT Summer Roundup

 Big beef meeting coming up.

 The  big summer Idaho Cattle meeting is going to be in McCall this year according to Wyatt Prescott. “Our annual Summer Roundup, June 26,  27th and 28th, we are looking forward to getting up to that portion of the state. We are moving up north to bring in more of the industry from that neck of the woods and we will enjoy the amenities of McCall. We are going to host a steer to steak program where we will walk producers back through the chain from the live animal all the way down to the  finished product and some of the value added cuts. We will also be doing taste tests on different input methods and how that impacts the quality and the taste of the beef. We are looking forward to having a good discussion and an update on the Owyhee 68 permit decisions and litigation and our fight to preserve the West. We are also looking forward to having discussions on the requirements of Tric testing in northern Idaho and the differences between that and southern Idaho. Will also take on the sagebrush issue.”
