According to last week’s drought monitor - snowfall in parts of the Plains had little impact on the historic drought.
And finally. The Bureau of Land Management are looking at at the possibility of establishing a wild horse sanctuary on 820 square miles of land near Wells, Nevada. The idea is to give visitors an up close look at free-roaming mustangs while at the same time ease the need for BLM to remove horses from the range and ship them to costly holding facilities. One thing most everyone agrees upon: BLM's current policy isn't working.
