1-9 IAT Farm Seminar
An Advanced Agricultural Business Management Seminar has been set up to Teach Producers how to Tackle “Real World” Farm Issues. Northwest Farm Credit Services is sponsoring an Advanced Ag Business Management Seminar in Spokane, January 22-23, 2013. Here is NFCS’s Michael Stolp, VP- Market Research and Development. “Growth and diversification can challenge businesses’ management systems. Northwest FCS’ Advanced Management Seminar answers this challenge with real-world lessons for increasing the sophistication of farm, ranch and agribusinesses’ financial management and leadership development. The Seminar also teaches practical leadership tools to make management teams more effective and accountable. Additionally, participants will have opportunities to learn from other agricultural producers and benchmark their management strengths and weaknesses.” Michael says that Dick Wittman leads the Advanced Management Seminar. “Wittman’s expertise is recognized in his work with farm families throughout the nation and in programs like The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers (TEPAP). The Seminar is open to owners and managers of agricultural businesses in the process of expansion, diversification or transition to the next generation.”
