12-20 SS Mike's Book on Mule Deer Hunting

 Mike Eastman of Eastman Hunting Journals has written a new book which is the latest offering in the Eastmans' Bestseller Book Collection, following Elk Hunting the West, Hunting High Country Mule Deer and Hunting Trophy Antelope. In his new book, Mike details strategies that he's used to hunt big bucks over the past 50 years. The title of it is Mike Eastman’s Mule Deer Hunting Tactics and the byline is 50 Years of Practical Mule Deer Knowledge. I wrote a book back in 1995 called Hunting High Country Mule Deer  and sold over 30,000. I have been working on this book for 3 years. It is about hunting semi arid desert sagebrush, quakers and conifer country and also high country.  It will be over 300 pages with hundreds and hundreds of photos. Guys that are really high on a mule deer need specific tactics is that correct? I don’t care whether you are hunting elk, antelope or mule deer. All 3 are different. A lot of people don’t understand that. They hunt like they did with their father taught them and their father hunted back in the golden days of mule deer where they were everywhere and all you had to do was walk up a coolie and they all jumped up and you picked one out and wham. It isn’t that way anymore. You take somebody who has taken a good mule deer, they are considered one of the toughest trophies in North America to harvest.
