12-12 SS S.W. Classes

12-12 SS S.W. Classes

The folks at Sportsman’s Warehouse have really come up with a great idea to serve their outdoor enthusiast clientele. They are starting to put on classes that specifically address different types of outdoor activities. Here is Blaine Daveys, store manager of the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Meridian, Idaho.  “3 night class and we are starting up with this guy name Mike Sandifer who is a local guy who does a lot of fly tying and we are toying with the idea of doing multi-night classes. We are doing a fly tying one and we are doing a fishing Idaho one. Most of the people  who have attended have been new to the area and trying to get a better idea of where they can go fishing and what they can fish for. So touched on fly tying and traditional  terminal tackle.  That sounds brilliant. So you get a local guy who has a presence in terms of being able to talk in front of people and he has to be a good and knowledgeable outdoorsman and you put on a class. Yes we put on class and we are working on trying to get some seasonal classes, 6 to 8 a year, and depending on the time of year the topics change from fishing to elk and deer hunting to bird hunting, etc. They are in-depth 5 hour classes.”
