9-27 SS Eastmans' Hunt

 The Eastmans’ Bowhunting Journal Hunt Winner program gives subscribers the chance to win a hunt of a lifetime and experience the pinnacle of Western elk hunting. The hunt takes place in southern Colorado and is an elk enthusiast’s dream. This year, the lucky winner is Daniel Miller, 68, from Nehawka, NE. Dan, a retired UPS employee of 30 years and hunter safety instructor, will be met by Guy Eastman and the Eastmans’ Hunting TV crew during the last week of September.  Dan says that Eastmans’ Hunting Journals have prepared him well.  “I have been subscribing to Eastmans’ Hunting Journal and Eastmans’  Bow Hunting Hunting Journal for several years now. I live in Nebraska, I don’t hunt the West that often but when I do, I use a lot of the information that comes out of their publication. I feel that they are a very quality organization and what they do is help me out because the majority of the stuff that you hear about through Eastman is do-it-yourself type of stuff on public lands. I am in high expectation of being associated with their organization and doing something that I have never done before and that is gone on a guided hunt for bull elk.  Dan has a great hunting philosophy. I am not a high point type person. I have never been the type of person that is a trophy hunter. I believe that the trophy is what you consider to be the trophy.
