3-2 FB Wyatt Predators

 I had a recent conversation with Wyatt Prescott about fundraising efforts that are designed to control animals that prey on livestock. He was kind enough to take the time lay out the scenarios: “ Wildlife Services is for predator control and they have money for that…federal money and it is not enough. So the animal damage control board takes cooperative funds and the contract with Wildlife services to do it. That is what we are trying to discuss is how can we help them with more funding  to increase predator control. Can’t the Idaho cattlemen’s Association make a resolution that says since there is a hunting season on wolves, couldn’t you guys just get your 6 guns and go out and and control wolves? Yes we could do that but the problem is cattlemen don’t have time to do that.  Also it is only wolves. Coyotes are also a big problem.  There’s a lot more of them and they’ll take a baby calf just like putting a steak on the table.
