11-9 FB FFA President

 I have been preaching about the value of the FFA organization till I’m blue in the face. We’ll find out another reason why in a minute.

 I had a recent conversation with the state president of the FFA. His name is Jake Lake and maybe he should run for the next president of the USA. Sounds like he would be an improvement.  Here he is:  “it’s actually kind of an interesting story. All of my family was in FFA in fact my sister was president of the FFA in 2004 and 2005 and when I entered high school as a freshman I was a little bit jaded about the FFA. I did not want to follow in my older siblings steps so I said no to the FFA and I did not get into an ag  class and I got involved with another organization called business professionals of America. Well it turns out that my professor in business professionals of America was also a teacher in FFA and he told me that if I didn’t get into FFA that I couldn’t be in business professionals of America. So I kind of got shanghaied into FFA and it turns out that I have never regretted it and it was the best decision I ever made.
