There are some really good kids coming out of the farm community and I’ve found a dandy in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Seth Pratt is 20 years old. He and his family are from Blackfoot, Idaho something Seth has done for a long time, as it relates to being only 20 years old, is that he has participated in the FFA for 6 years and has been an officer for 2 years. Ben Meyer Is theAg & Natural Resources Program Manager and Idaho State FFA Advisor. Here’s a shocker. He has some pretty nice things to say about Seth. “He is an outstanding example of a homegrown Idaho leader who has taken on the vision of Ag education and youth involvement in promoting and advocating for agriculture and he has elevated himself to the position of a national FFA officer and will serve the half million members of the FFA in the next year.”Well guess what? Seth Pratt has been elected national FFA Western region Vice Pres. Making it the 1st time that Idaho has had a national officer since the year 1991. He views his job as working to get students ready for an agricultural career by improving their communication skills and their leadership.
