10-20 FB Sawtooth Wines

I might just as well confess it now,  I don’t know a whole lot about wine because I’m a hick... make that beer drinker almost exclusively. But I do know one thing. When I shop for wine maybe to bring over to somebody’s house, I have always been taken by the artwork on the Sawtooth wines coming from the  Sawtooth Winery of Nampa  which happens to be one of Idaho’s largest producers. Well they are a whole lot more than a logo given that they received an award for  the top wine at the 2011 Idaho Wine Competition.  Here is Idaho Wine commission executive director Moya Schatz. “ Yesterday was the Idaho Wine competition and there were several awards that went out but Sawtooth Winery won the best in show for their wine. Best in show? I thought that was a movie about dogs not wine. Two of my great loves,  wine and dogs. Wine Press Northwest is a regional publication and they do wine competitions all over the Northwest and they have been coming the past 2 years and they get 8 professional judges together to try the Idaho wines and there were 170 wines that they tasted through yesterday. And they were still standing ? Yes they were still standing.
