Wilsey Ranch has been family owned and operated for 30 years.  Their cattle and pigs are run on managed range in the Owyhee mountains. The pigs are supplemented with all natural feed and not given hormones, antibiotics, animal byproducts, or genetically modified feeds. You’re not kidding. Listen to HOMESTEAD’s Bill Gale: “Our pasture pork deal, Wilsey’s live up in the Owyhee mountains on McBride Creek and they have just been buying sows wherever they can find them in Idaho, there are not many pigs left, but they just turn them loose up there on that creek bottom, and let them go out on their own and just be wild hogs, feed them a little barley every day so they come home, and those pigs just instantly went back to building their own nests and they have had remarkable success.” The HOMESTEAD NATURAL folks  believe an animals diet is correctly balanced when they consume natural forages, without grains.
