Welcome to Open Range, I’m Susan Allen. Stay tuned because after the break I’ll check in with our field reporter, Greg Martin for the AgriBeef Minute.

I’m Greg Martin with today’s AgriBeef Minute. There is an old adage that says when you stop learning, you die. Northwest Farm Credit Services has announced a number of classes designed for the agribusiness sector.

STOLP: Successful customers make for a great co-op. To that end we focused our programming and education around those topics that we believe are of keen interest to our customers and their success. Those workshops touch on financial management, advanced management or business management systems, of course family business succession, human resource management as well as programs that bring together producers to network, share challenges they face as well as best practices.

That’s Michael Stolp, Vice President - Market Research and Development for NW Farm Credit Services.

STOLP: We look to folks that are lifetime learners, progressive and motivated to change their operations based on the best practices that are tested in the real world. That is, those lessons that are grounded in reality and producers experience.

If you are interested in any of these classes be sure and visit their website.

STOLP: www.farm-credit.com. Click on the resources and then the business management center link. A lot of our programs are free for our customers and we also do have a select few programs that are fee based.

I’m Greg Martin and that’s today’s AgriBeef Minute.

Thanks Greg. Don’t forget Greg will be back each Wednesday with the AgriBeef Minute. Agri Beef Co - Real Families, Great People, Exceptional Beef. I’m Susan Allen.
