Early Registration Extended for Beef Reproduction, Genetics Conference at BoiseA couple of weeks ago by got all excited on behalf of beef producers because the conference was coming to Boise to show producers how to get better production out of their herds by getting better re-production.  Hurry up and said I and get registered for the conference. Well wouldn’t you just know it, the early registration deadline has been extended until Sept. 29 for beef producers who want to learn how to increase the quality and efficiency of their herds through use of modern breeding technologies to improve their herds’ genetics at a conference in Boise.

University of Idaho animal scientist John B. Hall said the conference, “Applied Reproductive Strategies in Beef Cattle – Northwest,” will draw together top beef experts from across the nation and is one of two planned nationwide this year. The conference will focus on the technology of artificial insemination and the genetic and economic benefits for beef operations that adopt the practice. The primary focus of this group is to increase reproductive efficiency in beef cattle but also to promote and increase the use of artificial insemination in beef cattle.”

The conference will draw together top beef experts from across the nation and is one of two planned nationwide this year focusing on current concepts in beef cattle reproductive management. Nearly three-quarters of the program applies to both natural service and artificial insemination breeding programs.
