Merger Would Benefit Ag & Northwest Weather

Merger Would Benefit Ag & Northwest Weather

Merger Would Benefit Ag & Northwest Weather plus Food Forethought. I’m Greg Martin with today’s Northwest Report.

Strong support is building throughout the halls of Congress for a proposed merger between AT&T and T-Mobile USA. The merger would bring a new, national mobile broadband network to nearly every American - whether they live in big cities, small towns or rural areas. In a recent letter to the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Justice - 76 Democratic Members of the House of Representatives underscored that this merger would help fulfill President Obama’s promise to bring high speed wireless Internet coverage to all corners of our great nation.

The weather here in the northwest has been a bit on the cool side with a few hot spots once in a while. Meteorologist Tim Creek looks ahead.

CREEK: Weather conditions for the northwest are going to continue to be slightly cooler than average over the next 2 to 3 weeks. The threat of isolated showers does look pretty much dry with most shower activity when it does develop remaining to the north into British Columbia and Alberta and also to the east into maybe Northern Idaho and Western Montana. So I see a relatively quiet weather pattern. It’s definitely not a high pressure type of strong ridge. All-in-all not bad weather.

Now with today’s Food Forethought, here’s Lacy Gray.
