A couple of weeks ago the Baler School and Agri-Service Open House was held at the College of Southern Idaho’s Eldon Evans Expo Center. Clint Schnor, the operations officer for Agri-Service was there showing over 100 farmers from the Magic Valley some technological innovations that include a Massey Ferguson row crop tractor that has an emissions advantage: “This is a new tractor that is Tier 4 compliant which is an emissions requirement by the EPA. We use a euria treatment for the exhaust that expands the horsepower in the tractor and gets better economy than any other tractor out on the market right now. Actually lets you run an engine that is Tier One Compliant but treats the exhaust in a way that is Tier Four compliant.”
