3-26 FB Young Agtivist

Young farmers from around the country competed in the American Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Award, Discussion Meet and Excellence in Agriculture competitions in Seattle during the organization’s 91st annual meeting.??According to Farm Bureau - the Excellence in Ag award recognizes young farmers and ranchers who actively contribute and grow through their involvement in agriculture, their leadership ability and participation in Farm Bureau and other groups. We are preaching Agtivism here at aginfo.net and listen to young dairy producer Greg Vold comment on the future of ag: “We highlighted some of the activities I would use to promote agriculture in our local community as well as touching on three main themes that we feel agriculture needs to address in the next 5 years; they were connecting with our consumer, the issues surrounding animal activism, and environmental misconceptions.” He also has another goal: “what we can do to hopefully help give a positive move for agriculture.”

This young guy ought to run for President of the Agtivism outreach campaign
