I’ve said it so many times during our visits over the last year and a half that number one..these are tough economic times …and two, a big part of that is because of abuses in the way that the government is using its money. I’m David Sparks and I’ll be back with more. The government is supposed to be by the people and for the people and candidly a large part of this huge corporation is either corrupt or almost criminally negligent. The government needs to have watchdogs, with teeth, to monitor its behavior. One such watchdog is a group of people who have been feeding us…the Western Legacy Alliance is a group primarily comprised of food producers and people aligned with that noble goal who strive to preserve the working landscapes and lifestyles of the American West by supporting and promoting sustainable land-use solutions to ensure social and economic benefits for local communities and the nation. Well, The Western Legacy Alliance wholeheartedly offers its full support to H.R. 4717, the Open EAJA Act of 2010 which will begin the process of uncovering how deep-pocketed environmental groups and their army of lawyers have abused the Equal Access to Justice Act receiving millions in taxpayer dollars to advance their agenda.
