09/09/08 Potter Fans

It's apparently worse than rising fuel costs, the fall of the two major mortgage giants, and global warming; at least that's what thousands of Harry Potter fans around the world are implying by sending vicious and threatening hate mail to the power's that be at Warner Brother's Studio over the delayed release of the newest Harry Potter movie. The movie which was supposed to be released this November for the holiday season has now been pushed back to a release date of next July. Now, I have enjoyed the Potter films, and I was looking forward to the next film installment in the series; but am I going to have a near total collapse and send hate mail because of it's opening delay, I don't think so. The fact that there are actually "fans" out there that have sent death threats to studio executives is more frightening than any of the wizard duels in all the Harry Potter books combined! And as for the 51 year old L.A woman who stood outside of Warner Bros. with protest signs, I say, "Get a life"! Or more appropriately, quit acting like a muggle!
