Today’s modern farming solutions must deliver dependable equipment and a solid computer system. That’s why CNH's technology and iron hardware are developed in conjunction with one another, says Chris Dempsey, global senior director of product management and marketing.

Dempsey… “So we don't treat technology and iron products independently. We haven't for a number of years; We intentionally broke down that silo. Customers frequently tell us, look, your iron is nothing without your technology, and vice versa. That, you know, they're inextricably linked, if you will. There is no option where one exists without the other. And so literally from the time that we start developing product to the time that we validate if the product that we've delivered has actually met the needs of the customer, we're working through that process from an iron platform perspective and from a tech perspective, again, arm in arm.”

Dempsey says their goal is to incorporate technology that enhances, rather than complicates, a farmer’s operations.

Dempsey… “We are laser-focused on what we consider non-negotiables, and if we, you know, can't maintain those non-negotiables or those focused areas that keep our customers up and running, then any level of new technology beyond that does no good for us or for our customers.”

Dempsey believes the technology is as mission-critical as any other part of the tractor.
