Gradable is a joint venture between ADM and Farmers Business Network. CEO, Steele Lorenz says he recognizes the industry's need for greater connectivity between growers and grain markets, and says Gradable aims to create programs that can scale and significantly impact large areas of planted acreage.

“Farmers, we thought, you know, in general, had a lot of the information about their practices, had an understanding of what, you know, agronomic practices worked on their fields, did not have that connectivity at the market. And so we launched gradable to be able to connect growers and they're great practices to, you know, emerging markets that care about sustainability, and so gradable platform is two-sided. We have modules for growers to be able to sell their grain, to be able to track their economic practices and to get environmental scores. It is also a console for buyers to be able to find score and win environmentally friendly grain.”

Lorenz says that Gradable has explored various opportunities to enhance the benefits they provide, and after careful consideration, they decided to partner with ADM to expand the range of opportunities available to farmers. According to the gradable.com website, grain buyers can build a managed bushel program organize customers, and source low-carbon bushels all through one technology and service platform.
