**29,000 workers were hired by farms in the Southeast Region of Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina during the week of April 7-13.

www.morningagclips.com reports those workers were paid an average of $16.67 per hour and worked an average of 41.3 hours per week, down 0.8 hours from year earlier.

In Florida, 26,000 workers were hired and paid an average of $16.87 per hour, up from $15.36 last year, and worked an average of 40.7 hours.
