Chad hunts antelope

I've never actually hunted in Wyoming before, and so I didn't really know what to expect. It's really different hunting out there for antelope in the wide open. The way we approached it is based on research and what I was expecting. A lot of people drive around, look for antelope and they get out of their car and shoot an antelope. And we took a little different approach. I like to walk a few miles or more in a day if I can. State of Wyoming has the permitting process where you can get landowner permission, and we got permission to hunt on this 20 000 acre ranch. I think it took us four days for all of us to harvest an antelope. But each day we were putting 5 to 7 miles on there and walking through the ranch out in the sticks. It was awesome. We definitely saw other hunters out, but we never actually saw any hunters. Aside from the car. You hit glass for long distances. We saw a whole bunch of animals and it was a really good way to go about antelope hunting. And one nice thing I will say that I wasn't expecting is antelope are not very large. Two of the animals we harvested, we were probably two and a half miles from the car, but pretty easy to butcher them out and pack them back. And each animal we weighed after we had them boned out, they were about £40 of meat. Speaker1: Meat that, when it's done properly, prepared correctly, Chad says, is delicious.
