Entrepreneur and Co-founder of Hylio Drones, Arthur Erickson is revolutionizing the farming industry with drone technology. He started his company while still in college.

"I was born in Houston, Texas. So I'm born and raised Texan, and I studied aerospace engineering at UT Austin, University of Texas. And that's where I started the company. So back in 2015, while studying with some of my now co-founders who were fellow students of mine at UT.

Hylio Drones are built for all farmers and agribusinesses both large and small, they can spray agrochemicals on hundreds of 1000's of acres per day, replacing ground rigs or contracted aerial services.

"Our drones, specifically our agricultural drones, so meaning that they have to fly like any other drone. But there's also systems on board that control precise amount of liquid coming out of them, right, so we have a flow controller that makes sure that you're spraying two or three or four gallons per acre, whatever it is, you want precisely at that exact gallonage or dosage. We design, manufacture and, ship out all of our drones headquarters is on a ranch where we have plenty of space to test our products and spray and just practice. We have four models right now so they range from on the small end, twoand a half gallons all the way to 18 gallons on the big end.
