**The American Farm Bureau Federation signed a memorandum of understanding with tractor and harvest equipment manufacturer CLAAS of America regarding the right to repair.

This brings the number of signed MOUs with ag manufacturers to five, covering about three-quarters of the ag machinery sold every year in America.

AFBF President Zippy Duvall says, this demonstrates our commitment to ensuring farmers have access to the tools they need to keep their farms running and America’s families fed.

**The Biden administration Wednesday announced guidance to federal agency leaders with wildfire responsibilities outlining their vision and goals for managing wildland fires this year.

The guidance comes from a joint memo issued by Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack and Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland.

The memo highlights other strategic priorities to reduce wildfire risk, restore ecosystems, engage in post-fire recovery, and make communities more resilient to fire.

**Egg prices have been on a rollercoaster this year but are currently on a downward trend.

www.agweb.com reports, May’s Consumer Price Index shows egg prices now average $2.66 per dozen, 13.8% lower month-over-month, the largest monthly decline since January 1951.

But year-over-year, prices are only down 0.4% and still higher than average.

In 2020, egg prices average $1.51 per dozen.
