Vive's AZterknot Fungicide Pt 1
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. Times in agriculture are a changin’ … with fewer chemicals and more biologicals used to improve plant health like never before.Vive Crop Protection’s Jonathan Adamson says, their latest and greatest fungicide called AZterknot … and no, it has nothing to do with John Glen or Neal Armstrong …
ADAMSON … “AZterknot is a biological plus a hard chemistry combination product. So, we’ve been able to harness the power of active ingredient that’s been in the marketplace for a long time, it’s Azoxystrobin, and couple that with the Reynoutria extract, which is a biological extract from the knotweed.”
That combination, Adamson says, works extremely well …
ADAMSON … “The synergy between those two has been excellent. We’ve got great field data, we’ve got great results back from our trials with Miller Research and some of the other locations. It’s just been fun because we’re talking about something a little bit new and growers are getting excited and saying, oh, here’s, you know, a new tool that offers us some opportunities to do things maybe a little differently or at least have some better results from that.”
But what makes it better than other products? …
ADAMSON … “It’s the synergy of having a biological fungicide and a bio stimulant property in that. So, we kind of tout it as a double shot of plant health. It’s kind of like Azoxystrobin on steroids.”
Tune in tomorrow for more on Vive’s AZterknot and why the results are out of this world.
