It’s time for your Southeast Regional Ag News. You are listening to the Ag Information Network, I’m Haylie Shipp.

Pack your bags and get ready to travel to the Big Easy. New Orleans is playing host this January to the Beltwide Cotton Conferences.

Lauren Krogman, Manager, Marketing and Processing Technology for the National Cotton Council…

“The Beltwide Cotton Conferences feeds the transfer of new technology to U.S. cotton producers and other industry members with the goal of strengthening U.S. cotton’s competitive position in the world marketplace and enhancing industry members profitability.”

The conferences will be held January 10th through 12th and include three days of individual reports, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and seminars…

“Coordinated by the National Cotton Council and its cooperating partners, this annual forum is recognized as the global champion for cotton technology transfer. This year, cotton producers, independent crop consultants, and students who register for the 2023 Beltwide will receive reduced registration fees of $80 for early registration to $100 after December 14.”
