California FMC tech services manager Issa Qandah sat down with me at CAPCA in October to talk about the company’s new Altacor eVo insect control… that’s now more sustainable while still managing all three pest stages.

“What FMC did is take that chemistry and make it more concentrated, which means the grower does not have to use that much. For example, to manage 100 acres rather than you use 2.5 jugs, now you are down to 1 bottle. From an environmental standpoint, we use less material. And that’s the exciting news about Altacor eVo, the product has the same performance, same effectiveness, and now is more sustainable for our customers and for our environment.”
