NW Hort Expo Pt 2
With today’s Fruit Grower Report, I’m Bob Larson. The 117th Washington State Tree Fruit Association Annual and NW Hort Expo is right around the corner, December 6. 7, 8 in Yakima, raising anticipation for the tree fruit industry.Chairman of the organizing committee, Jordan Matson says after last year’s “virtual” meeting, an in-person meeting is exciting …
MATSON … “Every person I speak to is really excited to be coming to the show. They’re happy that we’re still having it. My company, Matson Fruit Company, we’re going to have probably the largest group attend we’ve ever had. So, I’m personally really excited.”
Matson says it will be a great way to reconnect and get all the updates …
MATSON … “I think it will be a great program. It’s a good opportunity to learn some of the research that’s being done on our behalf and hear some outlooks for the overall economy of the world, United States, Washington and if nothing else, it’s a great time to network with your friends.”
So if you haven’t done so, Matson says there are a couple of ways to register …
MATSON … “The easiest, I think, is go to the website, which is www.wstfa.org and you can find a spot there for the Annual Meeting and there’s a registration form. There’s an email address for Joanne and there’s a phone number you can call and she’s more than happy to take your registration info or answer questions you might have.”
Again, go to www.wstfa.org to find out how to take part in this year’s WSTFA Annual Meeting and NW Hort Expo in Yakima, December 6, 7, 8.
