This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Soybeans chipping away, moving higher along with corn while wheat saw less demand today. Let’s check go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 2 ¾, to finish at 595 ¼. March. Corn up 2 ½, to close at 426 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were dn 5 ¼, to settle at 561 ½.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 6-10 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were dn 10¼ - 5 ¼, ranging from 7-01 ½ to 7-16 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-15 to 6-28. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were dn 9-4, ranging from 6-80 ¾ to 7-00 ¾.

Live Cattle for Feb. were up $1.55, closing at 113.57 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $1.80, to finish the day at 139.72 ½. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.58, at 16.16.
