Water quality is a major concern for farmers, ranchers, and urban dwellers alike. What has been traditionally tough, however, is to determine the source of pollutants that harm our water quality.

Eban Bean is an assistant professor and extension specialist in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Florida. His team is working on a platform called Gatorbyte to help solve this water quality problem.

Bean plans to build a platform around the data being collected by this Gatorbyte buoy.
