Picking p the story from yesterday, Brian Huskey was elk hunting with a bow when he saw a beautiful bull ….and Brian Huskey was accounting with a bow when he saw a beautiful bull.

“And I just crept into where the elk with that and I ended up getting into about 30 yards of this great big bull with one singular cow that he was interested in. But the area was so thick, there were so many trees and branches. I spent 40 minutes within 30 yards of the bull. And did not have a shot because he just wasn't in an area where there was a clear enough lane to shoot through. And I was contemplating whether I should go ahead and try to call just to get him to move. Although I was reluctant to do that, I needed something to stir the pot, so to speak. And as luck would have it, my friend Ian, who was hunting another ridgeline behind me, spooked a group of elk that came running in behind me, and this group of cows ran within five yards behind me. As I stood perfectly still, and then they caught my wind as they came right behind me, and they all froze and stopped. And this bull came running up to greet all of these ladies. And when he ran up to greet all of these cows, he presented the shot that I'd needed.” Resulting in the shot that he took, getting him a 6 X 6 beauty.
