This is your Northwest report for Friday, November 25, I'm David Sparks and as the time gets closer and closer to President-elect Donald Trump reporting for duty, the waters of the United States rule is very much on the minds of many in agriculture. It is the ardent hope of the president of the American Farm Bureau Federation Zippy Duvall that Mr. Trump will find a way to change this legislation. He makes a very good point regarding the ways that farmers in general approach the environment and their stewardship. agri-pulse.com tells us that EPA administrator Jenna MacCarthy, speaking at the National Press Club recently, said she is proud of the WOTUS rule.
