Late Season Pheasant Seminar

As we get further into football season and temperatures continue to drop, many of us find ourselves burrowing into the man cave, rather than taking the old bird dog out for a hunt. Which is exactly why this could be the perfect time to get out there and make some memories, as crowds die down and birds change patterns. If you're wondering how to capitalize on these late season birds, we've got the perfect event for you to attend.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is hosting a great tutorial on how to hunt pheasants during the later part of the season, Thursday Dec. 1, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hunter Ed building in Denver, CO.

Tony Dymek, the assistant hunting and fishing outreach coordinator said "The seminar offers a great opportunity for late season pheasant hunters to learn ways to change up their tactics from the early seasons and be successful. The new Corners for Conservation program has expanded land to hunt on, creating less pressure and crowding. Come see why this might be the best time to hunt this year!"

Pheasant hunting enthusiasts will learn all about what the birds are doing now and pick up new tactics to pursue them at this 2- hour seminar.

"For years I have seen the fields covered with hunters for the first two or three weeks of the season and then they are gone." added Dymek. "But let's remember, the season runs to the end of January. The birds are still there, we just have to change up our game plan."
