Meet USPB Marketing Administrative Assistant James Ruden

There are many employees making a difference in the many different programs and initiatives that the United States Potato Board is responsible for. USPB’s Marketing Administrative Assistant James Ruden shares more about his role at USPB
Ruden: “I manage the online library media valet where we share all of our images as well as our brochures and other things that we have developed over the years with our international offices. I am running the Salad Bar Challenge portion of our Salad Bar to Schools Program. Helping find districts that are approved that have submitted grant requests. And getting the bars places as well as all of our matches placed in districts.”
For industry members that are still interested in seeing potato friendly salad bars in school districts, Ruden says
Ruden: “If they are looking for a school district and begin the initial processes of making a donation, they can contact me directly. I’ll then get a hold of the invoice for them and make sure that our matches — identify the district it will be going to and make sure that our matches make it there as well.”
If you are interested in donating a potato-friendly salad bar to a school district you can email Ruden at saladbars@uspotatoes.com
